There’s a video for you. Let’s watch and answer: What’s it about? 2.      What’s on the Earth? There are… 3.      What’s in her body? Teach: oil, coal, treasure(crystal,  diamond,  gold,  silver…) 4.      But now, the Earth is changing. (The smoke from factories makes the air dirty. There are a lot of cars in the street. The waste gas from the car makes the air dirty, too.  The factories blow off the waste water to the river. It makes the river dirty . Hill fires burn a lot of trees. People cut down too many trees. Our Earth b***es more and more dirty . What should we do?) Read the title. Step2While-reading 1.      Watch the cartoon and answer: What ways are mentioned in the text? 2.      Let’s look at Part 1 and try to answer. Q1)Why should we save water? Q2)How to save water? (Why? Because water is useful. In many places, there is not much water. How? We shouldn’t waste water. We should reuse and save water.) 3.      Please read after the***puter and try to read it beautifully. Pay attention to the pronunciation, intonation, stress and the sense-group. 4.      Can you look at this mind map and try to retell Part 1? 5.      How about the other ways? Why should we do and how to do? You can circle the new words , look up youdao dictionary. Underline the information and discuss with your partners. Also ,you can draw a mind map to help you to retell. 6.      70% of energy***es from coal. 18% of energy***es from oil. Where does the other energy***e from?(You can say it in Chinese.) 7.      So how to save energy?(Students try to retell.) Learn the rest parts about the text.
