Teaching key point:Students write and share their own article about hobbies and dreams. Step 1: Revision Have student review what they have learnt about Daniel in Unit 1 and fill in the table. Then the teacher asks the question:What is Daniel interested in? Step 2:Pre-reading 1 Do you like science? Why or why not? 2 What does a fan of science often do? At the same time,the teacher plays a video about a science show to give students some possible answers. Step 3:While-reading Skimming:Match the paragraphs with the main ideas.
