-be doing…when …
例(2022 新高考 I,60)The GPNP (design) to reflect the guiding principle of “protecting the authenticity(原真 性 ) and integrity of natural ecosystems, preserving biological diversity, protecting ecological buffer zones, and leaving behind precious natural assets(资产)for future generations”.
I,56) (cover)an area about three times the size of Yellowstone National Park, the GPNP will be one of the first national parks in the country.
Covering
(1)句中出现介词 than,一般要用比较级;
(2)句中出现表示范围的介词短语(in/of…) 或形容词前有定冠词 the时, 一般要用最高级;
I,59)The amazing thing about the spring is that the colder the temperature gets, the (hot)the spring!
I,64)As the song goes, this long and winding road“will never disappear”, and it will always stick in the visitor’s memory. It sure does in (I).
I,56) In the 18th and 19th centuries,_____________(wealth)people travelled and collected plants, historical objects and works of art
I,65) While you're in China, Mount Huangshan is must to visit!
(1) 并列连词:and、but、yet、or、so、for 等
(2) 定语从句的引导词:关系代词(that、which、who、whom、whose)、关系副词(when、where、why)
(3) 名词性从句的引导词:连词(that 、whether 等)、连接代词(what、whom、who、which 等)、连接副词(when 、where、how、why)
(4) 状语从句的引导词:表时间(when、while、as、before、after、since、until 等)、表条件(if、unless) 、 表 让 步 (though、 although) 、表 原 因 (because 、as 、since)、表 结 果 (so … that…)等。

Passage 12(2024
56. to benefit。
57. or。 either … or …
58. that / which。 破折号后的主要结构为:they price goods in the way其后为定语从句,先行词为the way,从句中缺少主语,因此应填关系代词that / which。
59. what。 本句为主从复合句,that's 59 they'll promote.
60. criticism。
61. be offered。 本句为主从复合句,it would help even more if they could sometimes 61 (offer) in smaller packs. 主句又为主从复合句,其中if they could sometimes 61 (offer) in smaller packs.
62. have started。 本句主要结构为 some supermarkets 62 (start) selling chicken or salad in packs空格处应为谓语动词,根据本句的时间状语 Over the last two years,可知空格处应使用现在完成时,且主语为复数形式,与start之间为主动关系,因此应填现have started。
63. designed。
64. the。 根据空格处前一句中的 two halves,和本句中的one可知,此处为one...the other结构,the other(两个中的)另外那个。
65. ones。
