T: What festivals do you know in foreign countries? Possible answers: Christmas, Thanks-giving Day... 2. Play a short game T: Look at the picture and guess what kind of holiday activity it is. Possible answers: dumpling, moon cake, dragon boat... T: Look at the pictures and match them with the right festivals. 2. Read and Write. The teacher will help students to read the description of the festival and write the name of the festival in parentheses. Ask students to look through the passage quickly, then listen to the tape again, and try to fill in the blanks. Post-listening 1. Show students the listening script and check the answers. 2. Summarize the language points.
