Excitement was at its peak as I approached the gate of Zhongshan University on the morning when my 4-year brand new academic journey was to begin. I dashed through the campus avenues like a bird flying to freedom. I headed in search of my first destination — my dormitory.
After I successfully located the modern and well-equipped dormitory building, happiness and satisfaction came upon me. The thought of being able to live and study in such a refreshing environment raised my spirits. As I gazed around the campus, I decided that I would strive to upgrade myself academically just to live up to my own targets and expectations from my beloved parents and teachers.
