①I don't know what first made me interested in becoming a
teacher. It was just something I had always wanted to do. When I
was 5 years old, I wanted to become a teacher. And I liked to
write something on the board to teach my toys when I was young.

②When I was in high school, I was lucky to join in a teaching
activity. During this activity, we worked with the students in Grade

helped them with homework if they needed it, and taught them
how to deal with hard situations (处理棘手的情况) . To them, we
were teachers. It was a special experience in my life, and I'd never
forget the feeling I got when one student of mine who was shy
went out of her comfort zone (舒适区). The next two years when
I saw her in the school, she'd always smile and say hello. This
made me feel great because I felt like I made a difference.

③At the same time, this experience also helped me a lot. I
went out of my comfort zone because I was a teacher. Being put in a situation like this made me more outgoing and patient
(有耐心的). Working with them still helped me to better myself and improve my teaching skills (提高我的教学技能).
