Unit2 Community Life 同步练习 基础巩固 1、 定语从句中关系代词重点知识回顾 定语从句（Attributive clause） 定语从句是形容词性从句，用来修饰主句中的某个名词或代词、主句或主句中的一部分，在句子中充当定语成分。被定语从句修饰的词叫做先行词，定语从句一般紧跟先行词。引导定语从句的词叫关系词，关系词分为关系代词和关系副词。 Eg: I moved into a new community. The community is a wonderful home for everyone. I moved into a new community that//which is a wonderful home for everyone. 结构：先行词（名词、代词）+（关系代词、关系副词）+ 陈述句语序。 关系代词的作用： ①引导定语从句； ②指代先行词； ③在从句中充当一定的成分； 关系代词：在从句中作主语，宾语，表语，宾补，定语 关系副词: 在从句中只作状语 关系代词（本单元主要掌握关系代词）： 1. that：that 指人/物，作主语或宾语 (作宾语可省略） ① Let’s ask the woman that is reading the book over there. ② The food (that) I cooked were delicious. 2. which：which 指物，作主语或宾语 (作宾语可省略, 若介词提前则不能省。) ① They planted the trees which didn’t need much water. ② The fish (which ) we bought were not fresh. 3. who: who指人, 作主语或宾语(作宾语可省略。） ①The man （who） I talked with is our teacher. ②A person who steals things is called a thief. 4. whom: whom 指人, 作宾语 (作宾语可省略) ①The man (whom/ who) I talked to is Mr. Li. 5. whose: whose 用来指人或物，只用作定语。 ① This is our monitor whose English is very good. ② I borrowed a book from the library whose name is “War and Peace”. (表示所属关系) 关系副词 1. where ：由 where 引导的定语从句，其先行词主要是表示地点的名词，如 building, city, room 等，where 在从句中作地点状语。先行词还可以是抽象的地点名词，如：case, point, situation, circumstance, activity, stage, state… The hotel where we stayed was very clean. =The hotel(that/which) we stayed at was very clean. =The hotel at which we stayed was very clean. 2. where: 由 when 引导的定语从句，其先行词主要是表示时间的名词，如 time, day, date 等，when 在从句中作时间状语。先行词还可以是抽象的时间名词，如：occasion，age I’ll never forget the time when we first met. =I’ll never forget the time during which we first met. 3. why : 由 why 引导的定语从句，经常会用在先行词 reason 的后面，why 在从句中作原因状语, 相当于 for which。 The reason why I got a job was that I worked hard. =The reason for which I got a job was that I worked hard. 能力进阶 1、 选词填空 1.
