There are many kinds of houses in the UK. Some are big. Some are small. Some are in the city centre and some are in the country.

A detached house is on its own with a garden and a driveway. Detached houses are big and are usually outside cities. They are popular with families, but they are expensive.

In the city centres, there are blocks of flats. Some are very tall with good views at the top. They are popular with young people.
