2023-2024高二上学期导学案 编号: 51 日期:2024-1 主备人: 备课组长: 学生姓名: 班级: 小组: 评价: B6U2 Reading and Thinking (II) ——Learn to develop good health habits 【课标定向】 Learning Aims: 1. Summarize the useful expressions concerning a healthy lifestyle. 2. Learn to analyse the structure of the long and complicated sentences, and then translate them in your own words. 3. Explore a lifestyle experiment and its results. Key Points: Analyze long and complex sentences to overcome these barriers in reading. 【课前预习】 Read the text aloud and try to summarize each paragraph using your own words. 【导学过程】 Habits for a healthy lifestyle As teenagers grow up, they become more independent and start making their own decisions. However, during this period, it can be easy for some of them to form bad habits. [1] These bad habits, if left unchecked, could lead to more serious ones when they become adults. For example, some of them may become involved in tobacco or alcohol abuse, which can lead to physical and mental health problems. [2] To prevent harmful habits like these from dominating a teenager's life is essential. They must learn to recognise bad habits early and make appropriate changes. 【词块表达】 1. make their own decisions 2. form bad habits 3. lead to 4. become involved in 5. prevent...from 6. make appropriate changes 【句子分析】 【1】if left unchecked为if 引导的条件状语从句的省略形式,其完整形式是“_________________________________”。 【2】本句的谓语动词为_____________, 主语为_____________________。 To change bad habits is never easy, even with many attempts. [3]There is a famous saying based on the philosophy of Aristotle: "We are what we repeatedly do." In many ways, our lifestyle is the sum of choices we have made. We make a choice to do something, and then we repeat it over and over again. Soon that choice becomes automatic and forms a habit that is much harder to change. [4]The good news is that we can change, if we understand how habits work. 【词块表达】 7. the sum of 8. make a choice to do something 【句子分析】 【3】句中based on...做_______________(成分),what we repeatedly do为what引导的________________________(成分)。 【4】that引导_______________从句,that在句中无实义,但通常不能省略。 According to modern psychology, we must first learn about the "habit cycle", [5]which works like this: *Firstly, there is a "cue", an action, event, or situation [6]that acts as a signal to do something. *Secondly, there is a "routine" , the regular action you take in response to the cue. *Thirdly, there is the "reward", the good thing or feeling we get from the routine. For example, when we feel unhappy (cue), we eat lots of unhealthy snacks (routine), [7]which makes us feel happy (reward). The reward makes us much more likely to continue the cycle, and the bad habit of relying on unhealthy snacks is formed. 【词块表达】 9. learn about________________________________ 10. act as 11. in response to 12. make sb. much more likely to... 13. rely on 【句子分析】 【5】which引导的____________从句(成分),用which做引导词的原因___________ ______________________________________________________。 【6】that acts as...为that引导的________________从句,用that引导的原因________ ______________________________。 【7】which makes us....为which引导的__________________从句。 [8]To facilitate a positive change in our bad habits, we must first examine our bad habit cycles and then try to adapt them. We can do this by combining the information from our habit cycles with our own positive ideas. For example, we could try to replace a negative routine with something more positive. So, when we feel unhappy again(cue), rather than eat snacks, we could listen to some of our favourite music instead(routine), which will make us feel relaxed (reward). Aside from changing bad habits, we can also use the habit cycle to create good habits. For example, when we come to an escalator(cue), our normal routine is to ride it, but we could change this routine into something more positive by taking the stairs instead. 【词块表达】 14. facilitate a positive change in 15. try to do 16. combine...with... 17. replace...with 18. feel relaxed 19. aside from 20. change...into 【句子分析】 【8】句中用to facilitate的原因是______________________,译为________________。 Many of us try to change bad habits quickly, and if we are not successful straight away, we often become pessimistic and give up. [9]In fact, the most successful way to change is not suddenly, but over a period of time. As the Chinese philosopher Lao Zi wrote, "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." One step seems small, but it is essential. To reach the goal of change, a person must show some discipline and repeatedly take many small steps. After all, it is not easy to break bad habits. For young people, there is plenty of time to change bad habits. However, there is no "magic pill" or delete button that will help you; you have to think about your bad habits and decide on some changes. You have the power to build a happy and healthy life full of good habits! 21. give up______________________ 22. over a period of time______________________ 23. break bad habits______________________ 24. think about______________________ 25. decide on sth.______________________ 26. have the power to do...______________________ 27. a happy and healthy life______________________ 【9】to change做______________(成分),修饰__________________。 【达标检测】 课文语法填空 With teenagers 1 (grow) up, some of them have developed bad habits. These bad habits, if not 2 (stop), could result in serious problems when they become 3 (adult), such as tobacco or alcohol abuse. To prevent 4 (harm) habits like these from affecting a teenager's life 5 (be) essential. According to modern psychology, to change bad habits, we must first analyse them using the “habit cycle”. We must first find out 6 the cue is. Then we must replace the old negative routine with something more positive. If successful, we will feel a sense of satisfaction and our bad habit may disappear. Breaking a bad habit is difficult, and 7 is easy to make excuses and give up. We need 8 (make) up our minds and show some discipline, and make small changes over a period of time. There is no“magic pill” to help us, but the changes will ensure we have 9 happy and healthy life full 10 good habits! 1 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $$ B6U2 Reading and Thinking (II) ——Learn to develop good health habits 【课标定向】 Learning Aims: 1.
