七.阅读理解(每小题2分, 共30分)
A
I found it hard to communicate with my mother. Relations between us became difficult.
One day I ran away from home and stayed outside for a few hours. When I returned home at night, I saw all the pain, anger and disappointment on my mother’s face. We knew that we were in great need of a talk. We agreed to have breakfast together the next morning. In the end, we decided to go to a restaurant.
On our way to the restaurant, I noticed my mother had two notebooks in her hands. I asked her what they were used for. She explained to me that sometimes it was easier to write down our feelings than talking about them. We should write down our feelings.
Our first topic was “Why am I so angry?” I wrote a half page, and my mom filled up nearly three pages. I saw the tears run down her face while she was writing. I never realized anyone could hide so much anger. After we finished writing, we exchanged our notebooks. As soon as I started reading my mother’s words, I began to cry and so did she. When we finished reading, we discussed our feelings. Finally, it felt like all the anger inside me went away from my body. Our talk helped me realize so many things I had never thought about before, not only about my mother but also about other people.
My mother and I continue using our notebooks as a way of communicating. We know that no matter how we feel about each other, our notebooks are a safe place to express our feelings. We have come to an agreement that we write “I love you” at the end of each letter.

The word “家” with a pig under the roof of a house may show the importance of domestic animals (家畜) to traditional Chinese families.
There is a strong feeling between parents, children and other family members. The father is usually very strict with their children. Parents work very hard to set a good example for their children, while children study hard. Brothers and sisters in the family are very friendly and helpful to each other. All the family members make an effort to live a happy life.
Our ancestors (祖先) will be part of our life and a warm memory forever. We remember our ancestors, not for any advantages for ourselves but to make our feelings more active. Whenever we think of them, they make us stronger inside.
Everyone values the idea of “making all the members of the family happy”. We should all have this same idea as the great “China Dream”. There are thousands of families in China; just because every family goes well, China is getting better and better.

Some people think only school children do not agree with their parents. However, it is not true.
Communication is a problem for parents and children of all ages. If it’s hard for you to communicate with your parents, don’t worry about it. Here is some advice for you to bridge the generation gap (代沟).
Don’t argue (争辩) with your parents. Don’t get to your parents when you are angry. Your parents probably won’t consider your ideas if you are shouting at them. And you can’t express yourself well if you are angry. Go someplace to cool off. Make sure you understand why you are unhappy. Then think about what you want to say to your parents. If you don’t think you can speak to them at the moment, try writing a letter.
Try to reach a compromise (和解). Perhaps you and your parents disagree on something. You can keep your disagreement and try your best to accept each other. Michael’s mother didn’t agree with him about buying a motorcycle. They argued over it. But they finally came to a compromise. Michael bought the motorcycle, but only rode it on certain days.
Of course, your parents might refuse to compromise on something. In these situations, it is especially important to show love and respect (尊敬) to them. Showing respect will keep your relationship strong.
Talk about your values. The values of your parents are probably different from those of your own. Tell your parents what you care about, and why. Understanding your values might help them see your purposes in life.
A good relationship with your parents can make you a better and happier person. It is worth having a try!
1.According to the passage, who have a communication problem?
A.Parents and other people. B.Only school kids and their parents.

2.How many pieces of advice does the writer give us to bridge the generation gap?
A.5. B.4. C.3. D.2.
3.The underlined word “bridge” in the passage means “ ”.
A.建立 B.消除 C.通过 D.到达
4.If the values of your parents are different from those of yours, you’d better .
A.argue with them B.keep away from them
C.agree with them all the time D.tell your parents what you care about
5.The best title of the passage is .

As we grow older day by day, we find there are more problems between our parents and us.
As we grow older day by day, we find there are more problems between our parents and us.
The first problem is that there are too many rules at home. And they pay much attention to the scores. If we get bad grades, they will get mad. Besides, we have little communication and I think parents don’t understand us.
Most of us hope that we can have more personal space so that we can do what we like. We also hope that there will be better understanding between our parents and us. What’s more, we desire to have more chances to make decisions by ourselves.
As far as I am concerned, both our parents and we should work together to have a good relationship.
