微语境助记
Employing body language appropriately can help you break down barriers in your interactions with others. Body language differs in various cultures, and it is appropriate to “do in Rome as the Romans do”. For example, the gesture for “OK” in many cultures can be perceived as “money” in Japan or “zero” in France. By contrast, making such a gesture in Brazil or Germany is rude and can anger people! Of course, some body language is shared by all cultures. For instance, people have a tendency to say “Goodbye” by waving hand while seeing friends off, and smiling often gets people through difficult situations.
