This is Tammela School, a school in Finland. The students are having a math class with their robot (机器人) teacher. The “teacher” is blue, and it is small, about 25cm tall. When students need help with their math, it’s always there to help them. “The robot teacher can make math classes interesting. Many students like it, and they think it’s their favorite teacher.” One teacher in Tammela School says to Reuters(路透社). Now three of the four robot teachers are language teachers in this school. It can speak 23 languages and dance to music.
“We already use technology (科技) to help our students to study well,” the headmaster (校长) of the school tells Reuters, too. The robot teachers are great. However, it doesn’t mean (意味着) that real teachers will lose their jobs. The robots can teach well, but they can’t keep the class in order (有序). The school still needs real teachers.
