课题 Module 10 The weather Unit 1 It might snow. 1、 课型 Listening and speaking 语篇分析 本单元通过Betty, Tony 和Lingling的对话，对话主要内容是Betty,和Lingling要去溜冰引出了谈论天气的话题。以这个话题导入了谈论天气的习惯表达和表示可能性的词汇和句型。本单元的重点就是天气词汇的学习和表达，还有表示可能性的情态动词may, might等。学习接触天气词汇和表达。为下文听力做好铺垫。 教学目标 词汇目标：cloud, shower, snow, storm, cloudy, rainy, snowy, sunny, windy, windy, skate, thick, ice, joke, might, temperature, minus, degree, wet, terrible, neither, probably, 功能句型目标： 1.It’s cloudy too, so it might snow.天气也是阴天，因此可能下雪。 2. --What's the temperature?--It's -8℃～-2℃. 温度是多少？ 温度是在零下8度到零2之间 3. It’s probably sunny and hot there. 那里的天气可能晴朗而且很热。 语法目标：表示可能性的情态动词might的用法。  技能目标：能听懂谈论天气的话题。 情感目标：关注天气，以天气为切入点进行交流，增进感情交流。 教学重点 掌握相关词汇，并能正确使用表示可能性的情态动词来描述天气变化。 教学难点 运用所学词汇描述天气变化。 教学资源 PPT/pictures on the Internet/ videotape. 教学方法 Task-based approach,Interactive approach 教具 Tape recorder, Multimedia 教学步骤 教师活动 设计意图 Step1 Warming-up Watch a video about weather. Lead into the new class. 和天气相关的图片使学生课前就自然而又放松的步入到本模块学习的情境中。 Step2 Pre-listening 1. Learn　some　new　words　and　phrases　about　the weather.　 2. Talk　about　the　weather　using　the　right words and structures. 引导学生通过实际的图片写出关于天气的名词和形容词，展开小组讨论、相互补充等方式，由组长执笔，尽可能多的写出关于天气的词。 学生自主完成任务，并通过本组和其他小组成员的补充，完善对话, 教师在引导学生学习的过程中，教会学生如何学习。 Step3 While-listening 1. Listen and answer: Have the students listen to the tape and complete the sentence: ①What’s the temperature? It’s between minus ___and minus_____degrees! ②It is ____ in winter and ____ in summer in America. 2.Listen and read: Have the students listen and read the dialogue by themselves and check the true sentences in Activity 4.Then check their answers in pairs, then in class. 3.Read and remember Ask students to read the dialogue in groups and try to find out some important language points by themselves then help them solve the difficult points if necessary. 4. Act out the dialogue. 1. Language points 让学生带着问题去听课文,让学生从听觉上对课文有初步的理解，同时培养学生通过听获取细节信息技巧。 让学生通过听和跟读课文纠正自己的语音并且进一步熟悉课文内容后check 正确的句子并且更正错误的句子，培养了学生通过读获取细节信息能力。 通过小组活动提高学生间的自主、合作学习，让学生充分地实践运用语言，并激发学生创造性思维的发展 Step4 Post-listening 1.Complete the passage. Let the students complete the passage with the words in Activity 1(Activity 5). 2.Make a weather forecast. Give the students some pictures about the weather in different cities in China. In groups ,make a weather forecast. . 让学生根据自己的实际完成文段，并学会如何正确表达自己关于各项球类运动的情况的同时也了解他人的情况。 通过小组的活动，让学生做天气预报员，充分地实践运用语言，并无形中突破了本课的难点。 Step5 Summary 1、Let the whole class summarize the lesson together, what we learn today, what should we to make our home town more beautiful? .
