课题 Module 1 How to learn English 1、 Unit 2 You should smile at her! 课型 Reading and writing 语篇分析 设置话题“怎样学英语”和“你在英语学习中有什么问题”让学生讨论，既衔接了上一单元的内容，又引出本单元的阅读话题；课文按照“速读—细读—读后运用”的基本步骤进行教学，培养学生的阅读技巧。其中，“读后运用”按照“先说后写，先易后难”的原则推进，使训练层层深入，步步为营，稳扎稳打。 教学目标 1.知识目标 掌握本单元新单词及短语: vocabulary，ask for，improve，basic，time，advise，shy，conversation，quickly，natural，suggest，place。 2.能力目标 (1)能理解总结关于解决问题的文章，能获取文章中的细节信息； (2)能运用提建议的句型就英语学习的方法展开讨论。 3.情感目标 在学习如何提出建议的过程中逐步把握语言的得体性，学会照顾对方的感受。 教学重点 理解解决问题、提出建议的短文 教学难点 运用提建议的句型给出学习英语的建议 教学资源 PPT/pictures on the Internet/ videotape. 教学方法 Task-based approach,Interactive approach 教具 Tape recorder, Multimedia 教学步骤 教师活动 设计意图 Step1 lead-in. Step 1. Warming up 1. Make the students talk about how to learn English well in groups. And then ask some of them to give the answers. 2. Ask the students to talk about their problems in English learning. T: What problems do you have in learning English? S1: I can’t catch the meaning of the lines in some films. S2: I’m shy and can’t speak to foreigners. S3:I’m nervous when I want to speak to someone. S4:I can’t remember the words. S5: .... 通过这个环节既能活跃课堂气氛，又能为以下教学内容作好铺垫 Step2 Pre-reading New words learning：Show Ss some pictures and have a free talk between T& Ss, teach the new words and expressions. 引导学生直观谈论图片，训练学生的口头表达能力，在描述和谈论图片的同时学习新单词和新句型。 Step3 While-reading Fast reading 1. Ask the students to read the passage quickly. And answer the questions. Q1: How many basic questions are there? Q2: What are the basic questions about? 2. Check the answers in pairs. Answers: 1. There are three basic questions. 2. The first question is about understanding English. The second question is about speaking. The third question is about vocabulary. Ask the students to read after it. 让学生带着任务(问题)去阅读课文、去找答案，有助于学生更加准确地获取信息，提高阅读效果和阅读技巧。而分层阅读文章更能把知识点和对课文内容的理解得以突破；小组活动能通过学生间的自主、合作学习，让学生充分地实践运用语言，并激发学生创造性思维的发展。 Step4 Post-reading 1. Have Ss to complete the passage of Activity 4 and read the passage together. 2. Have the Ss to discuss the following questions in groups and write down the information. 适当笔头练习，让学生巩固本课时的语言点和突出重点。。 Step5 Summary 1、Let the whole class summarize the lesson together, what we learn today, what should we to make our home town more beautiful? .
