Is our Sun previously a disc comprised of gas and dust? Is dark matter composed of subatomic particles? Can we dismiss Fermi Paradox by traveling through a wormhole? To explore these unsolved mysteries, many countries have been engaged in sending numerous satellites, probes, rovers, and even space stations into space by space shuttles. The most celebrated space shuttle is the Challenger, whose crew includes an unexceptional teacher rekindling the interest of the public becoming accustomed to the notion of space travel. Most people assumed that this space excursion would be no more hazardous than an aeroplane flight. Tragically, the Challenger exploded in mid-air and instantaneously, millions of of viewers who tuned in to witness the take-off started to scream, excitement and optimism turning into terror and failure. This disastrous space accident cast a shadow on people's hearts, suspending US’s space shuttle flights. So arduous and hazardous an undertaking is space travel that more and more space camps are providing simulated space adventures. After submitting applications, you can use simulators to go on an incredibly lifelike spacewalk. But in a world with zero gravity, even the most straightforward tasks such as fetching items are not to be sneezed at and you need self-discipline to keep your muscles. At the awesome observatory, you can angle advanced telescopes at the vast cosmic ocean peppered with galaxies invisible to the naked eye, and might conceivably find new planets. 三、词汇记忆 1 学科网（北京）股份有限公司 1.disc 2.subatomic particles 3.space shuttles 4. crew 5.unexceptional 6.rekindle 7.become accustomed to 8. notion 9.excursion 10.hazardous 11.tragically 12.instantaneously 13.scream1 4.cast a shadow on 15.suspend 16.hazardous 17.simulate 18.submit 19.simulators 20.lifelike 21.straightforward 22.fetch 23.sneeze 24.self-discipline 25.muscle 26.awesome 27.angle 28.cosmic 29.pepper 30.galaxy 31.invisible 32.the naked eye 33.conceivably 四、词汇检测 Boundless space 无垠的太空 Is our Sun previously a ______________________(盘状物) ______________________(由……组成) gas and dust?
