►专题17 状语从句用法梳理 考点解读 掌握引导不同状语从句的常用连接词和特殊连接词。 考点精讲 状语从句主要修饰主句或者主句的谓语。 根据其句法功能,状语从句可以分为时间、地点、条件、原因、目的、结果、比较、让步和方式状语从句。 考点一 时间状语从句 常用引导词有when/while/as,before, after, since, as soon as, until, till, once. (1)when引导的时间状语 when意为“当……的时候”,谓语动词可以是延续性动词,也可以是瞬间动词。如: When I got there, the train had left. when作“就在那时，这时”讲，常用于be doing...when...结构，表示一个动作正在进行的时候，突然间发生了另外一件事。 I was reading books when someone knocked the door. He was about to leave when the telephone rang. (2)while引导的时间状语 while意为“当……的时候, 在……的同时”。谓语动词必是延续性动词,强调主句和从句的动作同时发生。此外，while有时还可以表示对比,可译为“然而”。如： I was washing my clothes while my sister cleaning the house. He is studying English while his brother is playing football. (3)as引导的时间状语 as 意为“一边……一边……,随着时间推移”,强调主句和从句动作同时发生。如: As you get older, you can get more knowledge. (4)before 和after 的用法 before 意为“在……之前”。after意为“在……之后”。 (5 ) until 和 till 的用法 这两个连词意义相同,till比较口语化,until比较正式。用于肯定形式且放在后面时，可以互换，谓语动词必须是延续性的，意为“直到……时”； 在否定句中, not...until..意为“直到……,才……”,谓语动词可用瞬间性动词。 Wait till I call you. Let's wait until/till the rain stops. Don't get off the bus until it has stopped. (6) since的用法 since 意为“自从……以来”,一般情况下,从句用一般过去时,主句用现在完成时。如: I have been in Beijing since I came to China. (7)as soon as表示“一……就……”。如: As soon as I arrive in Beijing, I will ring you up. (8)once的用法 once 意为“一旦……就……”,相当于 as soon as。如: Once you start,you will never give up. 考点二 地点状语从句 常由where引导，where意为“哪里,在.....地方”。如: Where there is a will,there is a way.有志者,事竟成。 考点三 条件状语从句 常由if，unless，as long as等引导。if 意为 “假如,如果”, unless 意为 “除非,如果不(if ...not...)”, as long as 意为 “只要”。在条件状语从句中,如果主句的时态是将来时,从句需要用一般现在时表示将来（主将从现）。如: We will go for a picnic if it is fine tomorrow. Let’ s go out for a walk unless you are tired. As long as I am here, I will hep you with your English. 考点四 原因状语从句 常由because, as，since ,as等引导。 (1) because 语气较强,常回答why的问句。注意它不能与so连用。如: Because I got up very late this morning, I was late for school. (2) as“由于, 因为”语气比because弱, 表示的原因为大家所知。如: As it was hot, we went swimming in the swimming pool. (3) since引导的原因状语从句一般放于主句之前表示已知的、显然的理由(通常被翻译成“既然”)，较为正式，语气比because弱。如: Since everyone is here, let's begin our discussion. （4） for 表原因放在主句后面，用逗号隔开。 He is absent from school , for he is ill. 考点五 目的状语从句 常由so that，in order that等引导。 (1)so that意为“以至,以便于...”, 引导的目的状语从句的常含有may，might,can，could，should，would等情态动词。如: The teacher speaks slowly so that the students can hear him clearly. (2) in order that意为“为了”, 相当于so that; in order to +动词原形构成目的状语,而不是目的状语从句。如: Remember the following signs in order that you can find the places easily. (目的状语从句) You must get up early in order to catch the train. (目的状语) 考点六 结果状语从句 (1)so...that...与such...that...的用法 ①so...that..引导的结果状语从句中，其结构为 “so+形容词/副词+that 从句”。如: I am so tired that I can’t move further. ②such是形容词,修饰名词,其结构如下: such+a/an+形容词十单数可数名词+that从句； such+形容词+复数可数名词/不可数名词+that从句。如: This was such a good film that I went to see it several times. It was such bad weather that l had to stay at home. (2) 当名词前有表示多少的many，much,few, little修饰时,形容词前用so。如: So many flowers so little water 考点七 比较状语从句 常由as..as., than等引导。如: Our classroom is as big as theirs. Jane is taller than her twin sister. 考点八 让步状语从句 常用though/although，even if/though等引导。 (1)though和although意为“虽然”，although比though更为正式, 二者都可与副词still，yet连用, 但不能和but连用。如: Although he worked hard,(yet) he failed. (4) Even if，even though意为“即使”,可以互换使用。如: Even though/if he failed many times, he didi not give up. 考点九 方式状语从句 常由as, as if/ as though等引导，as译为“按照...”; as if/ as though译作“好像....”如: I will do as you told me.
