I believe that April is the hottest month in Thailand. 主语+谓语 that/if/whether 宾语从句 + + Grammar Focus 宾语从句 ①that引导宾语从句,表示陈述意义,that可以省略。 ②if和whether引导宾语从句,表示一般疑问意义,意为“是否”。 ③连接代词(what,who,whose,which等)和连接副词(when,where,how,why等)引导宾语从句,表示特殊疑问意义。 Grammar 宾语从句的引导词 ①一般情况下宾语从句的时态必须和主句的时态保持一致。如果主句是一般现在时或一般将来时,宾语从句可根据意义的需要,使用任何一种时态。如果主句为一般过去时,从句应用相对应的过去某种时态。 宾语从句的时态 Grammar ②如果宾语从句表示客观真理、科学原理、自然现象、现存的客观事实、现在经常性或习惯性的动作、谚语、格言等,不论主句是什么时态,从句都一律用一般现在时。 一般情况下,即使有疑问词,从句仍然是陈述句式。但个别宾语从句本应用陈述语序,可由于习惯而保持原疑问语序不变,如what is the matter/wrong with...。 Bill __________ the races were not that interesting to watch.
