课 题 Unit 2 Sharpening Your Skills ( Listening and speaking) 课 型 Listening and speaking 课 时 2 授课班级 授课时间 90mins 授课教师 教材分析 本课教学内容选自高等教育出版社出版的“十四五”职业教育国家规划教材,《英语 拓展模块》第二单元“Sharpening Your Skills”听说板块(Listening and Speaking)。本板块内容以社会实践、专业实训、技能大赛等为主题,帮助学生学习并掌握与实习实训、社会实践及介绍技能大赛相关的语言知识与常识,让学生理解专业技能训练和工作经验积累的重要性,培养学生对职业教育的认同感和自豪感,并有信心参与到社会实践中。 学情分析 学生对参加社会实践、专业培训感兴趣,有基础模块中学习的词汇与功能句可参与暑假计划、课余兼职、团队项目等主题讨论,但学生有关实习实训的专业知识储备量有限,表达意愿不积极,英语综合应用能力薄弱。因而教师需采用不同的教学策略,激活学生该主题下的语言知识与生活常识;由简入难、层层递进引导学生阅读分析听说文本,完成学习任务;适当补充语料的背景信息,帮助学生理解情境,激发学习积极性。 学习目标 Knowledge objectives: To learn some words and expressions:stadium、individual、consumer、contest、talented、competition、pay off、participate、floral design、resident、automobile. Ability objectives: To understand talks about a skill competition. To talk about participating in a competition and a volunteer activity. Guess the main idea of the dialogue.Then play the listening. 2)Ask students to show answers and tell the evidence sentences,then show script to check. 3)Discuss the question:Why could the man win the selection competition? 3.Listen and complete. 1)Let students share information about the world skills contest.Then play the listening. 2)Ask students to share and check answers and show script to help. 3)Watch a video to know more about the world skills contest.Learn new words and expressions. 1. 1)Read the names and activities to know what they should grasp when listening. 2)Listen to mark some information and match the right dialogue. 3)Take some notes with the help of scripts to grasp new words. 4)Answer the questions. 2. 1) Read the questions and options. Guess the main idea of the dialogue.Then listen to the dialogue to choose the right answers. 2) Share answers and reasons.Check answers. 3) Discuss the questions and learn the spirit of hard-working. 3. 1) Read the form and grasp more about the information .Listen and grasp the missing words to finish the task. 2) Check answers and learn the great event for vocational students. 3) Learn new expressions to take some notes. 听力语料为专业实训、社会实践相关的内容。目的是激活学生相关的语言知识与常识,帮助学生理解专业技能训练和工作经验积累的重要性。听后围绕实践活动这一主题展开讨论,引导学生坚定继续学习,强化技能的决心,为学习本单元做好准备。 学生以小组为单位讨讨论对话内容,分享个人想法,针对有异议的部分,各组可复听(一般不可超过三次)。小组得出本组唯一答案。小组学习可培养学生团队合作意识,遇到挫折不放弃、共同进步的精神。引导学生讨论,帮助学生认识到努力学习、努力奋斗在实现目标过程中的重要性,培养学生的持续思维能力。 本听力任务数字较多,可在播放之前给出几组数字的听力练习,保证听的准确性,增强学生学习自信。概括我国在大赛中取得的成绩, 播放并引领学生感受中国代表队在比赛中的出色表现,激发学生的民族责任感和爱国情怀。 Step 3: Speaking 1. Complete and speak. 1) Read the given sentences first and choose the right one to complete the dialogue. 2) Listen and follow the dialogue to check and practise pronunciation in pairs /groups.Lead the students to know the importance of volunteer work. 3) Learn new words and sum up the useful sentences. 2.Act and practice. 1) Read the information and situations to prepare a dialogue to talk about the experience of competition or volunteer. 2) Organize the students to make own dialogue ,and ask some pairs to act it out in front of the class. 3) Show the standard to assess a dialogue on the blackboard.Ask the students to choose the best one. 4)Teacher gives some advice and corrects some mistakes.Show an example dialogue. 3.Sum up.
