·Play the recording of the new words and expressions twice for the whole class. After listening, let students read these new words loudly by themselves.
·Invite two students to read the words for the whole class.
·Present the new words and some related language points.
1.call v. 给......打电话
(1)拓:
n.呼声
e.g. We heard a call for help. 我们听到了呼救声。
vt.取名;呼叫
e.g. Call a doctor at once. 快点叫个医生来。
vi.访问,打电话
e.g. He promised to call me at noon. 他承诺中午给我打电话。
2.lie v. 平躺
(1)v. 躺,平躺
单三:lies 现在分词:lying
lie in the sun 晒太阳
lie under the tree 躺在树下
lie on the grass 躺在草地上
lie on the bed/ floor 躺在床/地板上
lie down 躺下
(2)v. 位于(= V.be)
e.g. China lies in the east of Asia. = China is in the east of Asia. 中国位于亚洲的东部。
(3)vi. 撒谎
e.g. Never lie to me. 永远不要骗我。
n. 谎言 pl.lies
e.g. Don’t tell a lie. 不要撒谎。
3.sun n. 太阳
(1)拓:sun, moon, earth表示世界上独一无二的事物,使用时前边要加上定冠词the

4.line n.行,排,列
(1)短语:stand in line排队
wait in line排队等候
5.take v.拿,取,花费
(1)短语: take off脱下;(飞机)起飞 take away拿走
6.wait v.等待,等候
(1)短语:wait for 等待
7.walk v.步行,行走,漫步
(1)walk用作v.,相当于go on foot
e.g. I sometimes walk to school. = I sometimes go to school on foot. 我有时步行去学校。
(2)walk还可以作为cn.,意为“步行,散步”。
固定搭配:take/have a walk 散步
go out for a walk 出去散步
e.g. Let’s go for a walk with your brother. 让我们和你哥哥一起散散步去吧。
8.trip n.旅行 pl. trips(尤指短途旅行/有目的的旅行)
e.g. We are planning a trip to the Great Wall. 我们正计划去长城旅游。
(1)短语:go on a trip = have a trip 去旅行
9.sale n.出售;卖
(1)短语:
have a sale进行销售活动
for sale 待售
on sale 出售
on sale for 以......价格出售
e.g. The hat is on sale for $8. 那顶帽子售价8美元。
(2)拓:sale的动词形式为sell,意为“卖出”。
sell sth. to sb.= sell sb sth.(双宾语)
e.g. He wants to sell his house to his friend. 他想把房子卖给他朋友。
10.enjoy v.享受,喜爱
(1)短语:
enjoy sth. 喜欢某物(sth.可以是n.,可以是pron.)
enjoy doing sth. 喜欢/享受做某事
enjoy oneself = have a good time = have fun玩得高兴,过得愉快
e.g. The children are enjoying themselves in the park. 孩子们在公园里玩得很开心。
11.drive v. 驾驶,驾车
(1)短语:drive a car 开汽车
go for a drive 开车兜风
12.off prep.下(飞机、火车……)
(1)短语:
get off下(火车、飞机、公共汽车等)
get on上(火车、飞机、公共汽车等)
turn off 关掉 turn on打开
put off 推迟 put on穿上
take off 脱下;起飞
(2)off作为adv.,意为“离开;放假休息”
e.g. They drive off. 他们开车离开了。
We are off today. 今天我们休息。
13.leave v.离开
(1)短语:
leave + 地点 “离开某地”
leave for + 地点 “前往某地/动身去某地”
leave A for B “离开A地去B地”
leave sth. +表示地点的介词短语/地点副词 “把某物落/忘在某处”
e.g. I’ll leave for Australia tonight. 今晚我要离开去澳大利亚。
I always leave my keys on the table. 我总是把钥匙落在桌子上。
14.moment n.时刻;时候
(1)短语:
wait a moment 稍等
at the moment 此时,现在
in a moment立刻,马上
at any moment随时,在任何时候
for a moment一会儿
15.place n.地点
(1)拓: place v.放置
e.g. You place me in a very difficult position. 你把我放到一个很难的位置上。
16.most adj.大部分(的),大多数(的)
e.g. Most boys like playing football. 大部分男孩儿都喜欢踢足球。
(1)拓:
most后不可直接跟定冠词、指示代词或物主代词所修饰的名词,但是可用most of(此时most是代词)代替most。
e.g. I spend most of my time learning to play the piano. 我把大部分时间都花在弹钢琴上了。
17.run v.跑,奔跑
(1)短语:run for/ after 追赶
(2)拓:runner n.跑步者 running n.跑步
·Let students do some exercises about the new words and phrases.
·Check answers together and solve the problems that the students cannot figure out.
·Let students make some simple sentences
by using today’s new words and phrases.
·Lead the whole class to summarize what they have learned today.
·To attract students’ attention and help them become more familiar with the new words.
