Show some pictures about Lanzhou. Let students get to know
about the city.Teacher points to the pictures and asks questions:
1.Did you go toLanzou Before? 2.Where did you visit?
Step 2 Presentation
1. Teach students to learn about the new words group, bridge, cross, wide and cheese with the help of pictures and sentences.
2. Let students practice the new words.
(1)There are many (桥梁) over the river.
(2) We have six English (小组).
(3) The street is (宽) and clean.
(4) Don’t (穿过) the street when the traffic lights are red.
