2.can的用法

You can use my dictionary.
He could write poems when he was 10 years old.
—Could I use your pen?
—Yes, you can.

I need to do it right now.
He needs to learn more about the girl.
如果是物作主语,一般用need doing与need to be done。
①主动形式的动名词doing具有被动的含义;

The door needs painting.=The door needs to be painted.
Your car needs mending.=Your car needs to be repaired.

4.must与have to 的区别
I must stop smoking.
If I buy that car, I'll have to borrow some money.

(2)用于否定句,must 的否定式must not(mustn't)表示“一定不要,不允许”;而have to 的否定式do not(don't) have to表示“不必”(=needn't)。例如:
You mustn't tell him about it.
You don't have to tell him about it.
