Ask students to share their understandings on the title of this unit “A green world” and then teacher will explain the meaning of the word “green”. 2. Watch a video. Ask students to watch a short video about environmental pollution and invite some students to share their feelings after watching. 1. Think carefully and share their understandings on the title. 2. Watch the video carefully. 1. Let students have a better understanding on the title. 2. To generate students’ interest in the topic “environment protection”. Step2: Presentation 1. Have a brainstorming. Ask students to have a brainstorming on the question “How can we make the world green?” 2. Explain how to live a green lifestyle. The teacher explains how to live a green lifestyle from 3 expects: what, why and how. 3. Show some pictures and introduce the World Environment Day for students. 1. Have a brainstorming and communicate with their partners. 2. Recognize the pictures actively and listen to the teacher carefully. To improve students’ thinking ability. Step3: Practice 1. Do the exercises. Ask students to complete the exercise of part A and then check the answers. 2. Look and guess.
