现在进行时可以表示现在(即说话人的说话时刻)正在进行的动作,常与表示“现在”时间或“现阶段”时间的状语连用。如:now,at present,at this moment,these days等,也可不用时间状语。

►现在进行时的构成:be(is, am, are)+现在分词
【解析1】肯定句:主语+be+现在分词 如:
I am doing my homework. 我正在写作业。
The telephone is ringing. 电话正在响。

►现在进行时的用法
【解析1】谈论正在进行的事
现在进行时表示动作发生的时间是“现在”,动作目前的状态是“正在进行中”。所谓“正在进行中”,是指在谈到这件事的时候,这个动作还在进行中。常与“now,look,listen”连用。如:
I am doing my homework now.
Look! Tom is playing soccer.
Listen! They are reading English.

【解析2】谈论将来的事
现在进行时还可以表示将要发生的动作,有“意愿”或“打算”的含义。所用的动词是arrive, go, come, leave, start, stay等表示移动的动词。如:
I'm going. 我要走了。
He is going to come to play with us next week.
他下周将来和我们一起玩。
I'm leaving tomorrow. 我明天要走了。

【注意】有些动词不用现在进行时,只能用一般现在时。它们是like, hate, see, taste, know, understand, believe, hear等。如:
