Unit 1 I like dogs. Story time教学设计
一、学习目标
1.学生能够阅读Story time并从中获取关键信息。
2.学生能够听说读写单词dog, cat, tiger, lion, horse, elephant, panda, monkey等。
3.学生能够运用句型Do you like...s?来询问别人是否喜欢某种动物并进行回答。
4.学生能够运用句型It’s.../They’re来描述动物。
二、教学重难点
1.学生能够在描述喜欢某种动物事使用动物名词的复数形式。
2.学生能够使用形容词来描述动物的特点。
三、学情分析
本节课是四上Unit 1的第一课,主要包括“Story time&Fun time”。主要学习一些关于动物的词汇,并且询问他人是否喜欢某种动物,以及喜欢某种动物的愿意。主要学习 “Do you like ...s?”句型,在此句型中,学生们可能会经常忘记使用动物名词的复数形式,所以在教学上,应该多加练习,以便强调。另外在描述动物特点时候,学生在三年级已经学习过“beautiful, lovely, tall, cute”等形容词词汇,在此基础上教授学生们使用“It’s/They’re+形容词”来描述动物特点。
四年级的学生,比较有活力,多英语还充满好奇心。另外本节课动物主题也与生活息息相关。在教学中,应设置一些游戏,对话,歌曲等等激发学生们的学习兴趣。鼓励学生们多说多练,让学生们感受到学习英语的乐趣。针对学困生,做好引领工作,多进行张嘴练习,增强他们的自信心。

3.Watch and match
T:What animal do they like? Now let’s watch and match, OK?

4.Match and say

T:What animal does Mike like?
S:Panda.
T:You can say like this “I’m Mike. I like pandas.” OK?
S:OK.
T:What animal does Yang Ling like?
S: I’m Yang Ling. I like cats.
T:How about Liu Tao?
S:I’m Liu Tao. I like dogs.
T:How about Su Hai.
S:I’m Su Hai. I like dogs.
4.Read and circle
T:What do they think of these animals? Now let’s read the passage, and circle the words they use to describe the animals.
After reading
S:cute, cute and fat.
5.Fill and say
T:Now please fill the blanks and say out the sentence.
S1:The cat is cute.
S2:I like pandas. They’re cute and fat.
T:To describe animals, we can also use “tall, beautiful, lovely...”

本节课属于第一单元的第一节课,激发学生兴趣和信心很重要。本节课主要讨论小动物,也是学生们比较喜欢的主题。所以在教学设置上,设置了一些对话练习,鼓励学生多说多练,提高学生们的信心。并添加了一些视频来活跃课堂氛围,并增设了一些游戏。最后进行总结和作业的布置,以巩固学习的知识。
