人与自我——做人与做事
Have you ever dreamed of becoming a teacher or somebody else? One of my classmates, Jenny, always 1 of becoming a reporter.
Last week, my classmates and I decided to help Jenny realize her dream. We came up
2 a wonderful idea to record a short interview video. Because of being short of professional equipment(设备), we 3 only use a pen as the microphone(麦克风). We didn’t have a video camera, either, so we took the video with a mobile phone.
When everything was ready, Jenny started to introduce 4 first. She was nervous. She held a pen and her hands were shaking. She also couldn’t help laughing many times when she
5 by other classmates. We did not stop recording 6 these interesting events were a way to show our true feelings. And then she interviewed our classmates by asking them some questions like “What is your dream?” Some of them were too shy 7 clearly. Some were outgoing and encouraged teenagers to fight for their dreams. One classmate even asked us 8 him next time so that he could prepare for it in time. Finally, we finished the interview 9 . Our video got popular in our school.
I think we not only helped realize Jenny’s dream, but also made 10 great memory of our senior high school life. Although we are not experienced, we have passion(激情) and energy. We should be brave dream followers. Everything can be worth.

交通与运输:自行车巴士
“Bike buses” — adult-led group bike rides to school — are taking over neighborhoods.
With the guidance of adult volunteers, many students ride to school with friends, biking in organized groups. The effort is a call to protect the environment, encourage exercise and reduce school drop-off traffic. And, parents and kids both say, it just makes the children happier.
Devin Olson is one of the volunteers. He is a father from Minneapolis. He made a bike bus to help students at two public schools six years ago. The number of the students in his bike bus was about 60 at first, and now it has increased to about 150.
“We meet at 8:00 a.m. to play soccer and eat some food,” Olson said. “Then we review safety measures (措施) and start our ride. We talk about something interesting along the way. Children are interested in their bike bus experience because they can get lots of fun.”
Olson’s bike bus makes about eight stops along the way to pick up children from different grades. The children like the way to school because they have more chances to talk with other children.
