英语说课稿Unit8 Topic1 SectionA Good morning, everyone. I’m number... It’s my great honor to have this opportunity to talk about my teaching ideas. The lesson I’m going to show is from Renai Press Unit8 Topic1 Section A How is the weather in winter? Now I will share my presentation in the following five parts: analysis of teaching material and learners, teaching aims, teaching procedures, blackboard design and reflection. Now I will introduce them one by one. The first part, analysis of teaching materials. The textbook is Middle English, Grade 7, published by Renai Press. This lesson is in the first period of Unit 5, which is a topic mainly talking about the seasons and the weather. And this lesson is a listening passage talking about how to ask and describe the weather in different seasons. By studying of this lesson, students can know how to talk about seasons and weather in English. Next, analysis of students. Although junior school students have learned English for several years so far, they are new in middle school. They are curious about new things and have a strong desire to learn better. Based on the above analysis, I have set the following learning objectives. First, the knowledge aims: students can master some new words and phrases about the weather and season. Also, they can talk about their favorite season, ask and describe the weather in different seasons and the suitable activities in different seasons. Second, the language skill aims: students will develop their listening, speaking, and reading skills and their abilities of working in pairs.Third, as for the learning strategy, they can read the dialogue loudly and correctly and they are able to understand the passage with the help of some pictures. The last one, emotional attitude and value aims: students can learn to enjoy the beautiful scenery in the four seasons. In the aspect of culture consciousness: they will know more about the difference of weather between China and Western countries. Here come the most important part, teaching procedures. In this lesson, I have designed 5 steps. The first step is warming up and lead in.I will greet students and let students answer a question: How many days are there in a year? Then show the pictures of the four seasons on the screen and ask some questions:How many seasons are there in a year? What are they? Lead students to answer the questions:There are four seasons in a year. They are spring, summer, fall and winter. The purpose is to attract students’ attention and know a little about the words of the seasons. After the students are totally warmed up. I will get the students prepared for the listening. The second step is to learn four seasons and some expressions. I will show the picture of “spring” on the screen and ask the question: What’s the weather like in spring? And students answer the question: It’s warm. Then point out the question: What can we do in spring?Let students talk about the question and try to answer it. For example, It’s a good time to...; It’s a good season for.... Next, show the next picture of “summer” on the screen and ask the question: How is the weather in summer? Then let students answer the question:It’s hot. After that, I’ll show the other pictures of “fall” and “winter”. Let students talk about the same questions above. By this steps, students can learn some words and phrases about the season and the weather and also help students be able to ask and describe the weather and the activities. Next comes the third step, while-listening.I plan to design listen tasks for three times to improve students’ listening skills. First, Listen to1a quickly, get the main idea. Then, Play the tape again.at the same time, let them do 1b,Listen and match the seasons with the weather and activities.Third, play the tape and let students read after the tape carefully. Then ask students point out the key sentences on the screen and let students try to remember the key sentences: —What’s the weather like in spring?/How is the weather in spring? —It’s warm. It’s a good time to.../ It’s a good season for..../We can... In this way, they will know a lot about the passage and learn to get the key information from listening materials. Now comes the fourth step, which aims to post listening tasks. The main idea is to consolidate the expression and information of 1a and cultivate the output of their language skills.at first, I’ll ask them to do 1c. Talk about the pictures in pairs: A:What’s the weather like in ...? How is the weather in ...? B: It’s ...It’s a good time to.../It’s a good season for.../We can do ... Then ask some groups to share the dialogues.Next, do 2a.Play the tape and let students fill in the blanks. Choose some students to check the answers. At last, show the pictures in 2b and give students some time to make up new conversations in pairs and then invite some of them to show their dialogues. With all the preparations done, the students will feel more confident to express the topic about the season and the weather. So I will Show a table on the screen and let students fill in the table including “Name, Favorite season, Reason” in groups. Then choose some students from each group to report the result of the table. I have enough reasons to believe they will report well. After the class, the students will be asked to review the words and expressions of this lesson, then write a short passage about their favorite seasons and the reasons. In the end, they should preview the words and expressions in the next class. The next part of my lesson plan is my blackboard design. I write the title in the middle on the top. The news words and phrases are on the right, and the useful expressions are on the left. It’s very clear and easy for students to understand. At the end of my presentation, I’d like to share my reflection about this lesson. There are so many knowledge skills for students to master, therefore students may not take in completely.Besides, the two expressions of asking weather “What is the weather like...” and “How is the weather...” may be wrong used.Teachers should emphasis these key points and practice more. That’s all for my presentation. Thank you for your attention. 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $$
