People often ask me for suggestions about how to learn English. As for it, everyone has different answers. I’ll share some of my experience. I once took a school year English course in Wuhan University(大学), but I mostly learned English on my own.
One thing I can tell you is that, once you’ve started learning, you should try to think in English as much as you can. If you see something when you're riding your bike or walking down the street, just think about “How would I say it in English?” At first, it might be just simple words or phrases, but later you should think about longer phrases and sentences. It’s amazing how much this helps.
For several years after I started learning, I was often afraid to talk with others in English because I didn't want to make mistakes. Finally I got it over. And while traveling in America, I’d try to hang out with friends who couldn’t speak Chinese, so that I’d have no choice but to speak English. After that, my English started improving much more quickly.
Besides, it may also be a good idea to ask your English-speaking friends to look at the way you’re writing, and give you some suggestions for improvement.

She gets up, gives her face a quick wash, takes a simple breakfast and rushes to the four rubbish dustbins beside the gate of her living area. In many countries, people are encouraged to buy electric cars(EVs). Among them, China is taking a leading role and has created the world's largest EV market. In 2016, 40% of the 753, 000 EVs sold worldwide were sold in China, about twice as many as the number sold in the United States. Chinese drivers are already big fans of EVs.
It is said that driving an electric car is good for the environment. But is that true? The University of Minnesota recently studied emissions(排放物)from different cars. The scientists found that sometimes, EVs are more harmful than petrol(汽油)cars.
Surprising? Well, please pay attention to the word “sometimes”. EVs are supposed to be clean. The problem lies in the power that is used to charge(充电)them. If the power comes from wind or solar energy, EVs will cause little pollution. However, ▲, they will be very harmful. According to the study, emissions from EVs kill about 3, 000 people a year, while pollution caused by petrol cars only leads to 880 deaths a year.
In fact, sales people are not lying when they say electric cars are clean. However, they are right only when the power used to charge their cars is also clean.
So how clean EVs are depends on what its electricity comes from. In France, more than half of the power comes from nuclear stations. EVs there should be as clean as they are marketed(推销)to be. In many developing countries, however, electricity still mainly comes from coal. India, for example, depends on coal for 61 percent of its power. Only two percent of its electricity comes from nuclear energy. In countries like India, EVs are not clean at all!
61.How many EVs were sold in America in 2016?

C.About 301, 200. D.About 753, 000.

A.if the power is produced from waves
B.if the power is produced from the coal
C.because new energy is quite dangerous
D.because the traditional way of burning coal is quite dangerous
64.Which one is TRUE according to the passage?
A.Driving an EV is good for the environment.
B.EVs are as clean as they are marketed to be.
