如果表示地点的词为 here、 there等副词,前面不加in。

辨析a lot与 a lot of
a lot作副词,意为“非常;很”。可修饰动词。作代词,意为“大量;许多”,常作主语或宾语。
a lot of意为“许多”,修饰可数名词复数或不可数名词,相当于lots of。

九.一般现在时中be动词的用法
be动词表示“是”,be动词的一般现在时形式包括am,is和are。
am,is,are的使用
1. am与第一人称连用。
I'm Anna.我是安娜。
I am a teacher.我是一名教师。
2.主语为you(你,你们),they(他们,她们,它们)或名词复数(两个或两个以上的人或物)时,be动词必须用are,几个人称代词并列做主语时,同样视为复数。
You are good friends.你们是好朋友。
Lily, Lucy and Kate are in Chin.莉莉露西和凯特在中国。
3.主语是单数第三人称时,be动词用is。
He is a good teacher,他是一名好老师。

Last weekend at the airport, I had some extra time before going through security(安检) to catch my flight. While wondering what to do, I decided it was the perfect time and place to look for an act of kindness to do.

Last weekend at the airport, I had some extra time before going through security(安检) to catch my flight. While wondering what to do, I decided it was the perfect time and place to look for an act of kindness to do.
Outside security there was a girl having flowers for sale. I told her that I'd like to buy flowers for someone else, and she could decide who to give them to.
