Writing——如何写故事性记叙文 [对应学生用书第49页] 故事性记叙文要求把人物的经历、行为或者事情发生的经过叙述出来。 1.记叙文的语言特点 (1)以一般过去时为主, 其他时态为辅。合理地使用丰富多彩的动词时态是记叙文的首要语言特点。 (2)多用动词, 尤其是动态性强的行为动词是英语记叙文的又一个明显的语言特点。 (3)适当使用连接词。 2.英语记叙文的写作方法 (1)基本结构(structure)。记叙文应该具有贯穿全文的主线, 即开端(beginning)、发展(developing)、高潮(climax)与结尾(ending)。文章开始要交代故事发生的时间(when)、地点(where)、人物(who)等背景因素。然后进一步向读者交代发生了什么事(what), 如何发生的(how)以及发生的原因(why)。最后, 必要时加入冲突(conflict), 从而推出故事的高潮(climax)与结尾(ending)。 (2)叙事角度(point of view)。记叙文通常采用第一人称或第三人称两个角度来进行阐述。 (3)顺序(sequence)。记叙文一般是按时间顺序来叙述的, 其叙述方法多采用顺叙, 也就是指按照客观事物发生、发展的先后顺序进行叙述, 也可采用倒叙。 [基本框架] 第一段:交代事情发生的时间、地点、人物等要素。 第二段:进一步叙述事情的发生、发展过程, 在必要时可加入冲突, 以达到故事的高潮。 第三段:结尾要尽量自然, 做到水到渠成, 可适当谈一下自己的感想, 发表自己的看法, 以达到升华文章主题的目的, 但不宜过多。 [常用词语] 1. suddenly 突然 2. immediately 立刻 3. luckily/fortunately 幸运的是 4. finally/at last 终于/最后 5. one day/the other day/last week 一天/那天/上周 6. to one’ surprise/astonishment 令某人惊讶的是 7. occur/take place/happen 发生 8. as usual 像往常一样 9. show respect for 对……表示尊敬 10. be of great importance 很重要 11. On one hand…on the other hand…/For one thing…for another… 一方面……, 另一方面…… 12. what’s worse/to make matters worse 更糟糕的是 13. as a result 因此 14. at first 首先 15. at the same time 同时 [常用语句] 1. It was a beautiful day and the sun was shining. 那天天气很好, 阳光灿烂。 2. Up to now, I still remember one interesting/terrible/embarrassing thing which happened years ago. 直到现在, 我仍然记得发生在多年前的一件有趣的/可怕的/尴尬的事情。 3. When I told my friend, she said I was pulling my legs. 当我(把这件事)告诉我的朋友时, 她说我在开玩笑。 4.
