(P. 104) set up表示“建立、创立、成立”。 一个新政府在战后成立了。 3 So far he has acted in nearly 100 films and has won many awards. (P. 105) so far意为“到目前为止”，相当于until now或者up to now，与现在完成时连用。 例如： So far, we have been successful. 至今为止我们已经读了四本书。 4 Jackie Chan is considered by many people as a superstar...(P. 105) consider作及物动词，表示“认为、考虑”，可接名词、代词、动名词、宾语从句或者疑问词+不定式。consider...as...意为“把……看作……”类似的意思还有：be regarded as/ be thought of ...as...例如： We consider him (as) the best man for the work. They consider me too young to join the army. We are considering going to Canada next year. We have to consider where to go for our holidays. Step 2 Writing 【写作方法】首尾呼应法进行人物描写 开头：开头直接点出要写的人是谁，介绍一下他/她是什么人。 中间：如果有提示信息，就按提示信息去思考； 如果没有提示信息，可以写以下内容：姓名、年龄、职业、兴趣、爱好、特长、籍贯、毕业学校、理想和简单的经历等。 结尾：最后对人物作整体评价。 易错点提示： 1 写人的记叙文，要写出人物的特点，以及在生活中所做的事最后要对人物做整体评价。 2 对于含有中文提示的写作，不能逐字翻译提示中的内容，而是要按照文中所提示的信息，用自己熟悉的英语来表达所提示的内容。 3 写此类文章时，不能拘泥于原要点，不能只把原要点翻译过来了事，而应有适当的想象和发挥。 4 写完要认真检查。 【典例】 下面是国际影星李小龙（Bruce Lee）的个人资料。假如他是你喜欢的电影明星，请你写一篇短文对他进行简单介绍。 要求：1 题目自拟；2 语言通顺，结构合理。3 100词以上。 英文名字：Bruce Lee 出生日期：旧金山（San Francisco） 才能：一位著名的演员， 一位功夫专家（an expert in kung fu） 经历：三岁，搬到香港；七岁，父亲开始教他打太极拳； 18岁，被送往美国，在学校里组织了一个中国武术队。 代表电影：《唐山大兄》 （The Big Boss）1971 《精武门》 （Fist of Fury）1972 《猛龙过江》 （Way of Dragon）1972 参考句式：单词famous, expert, move, teach, send organize, 短语：an expert in kung fu; be born; at the age of; begin to; play taiji; be sent to 句式： He was not only...but also...
