Hi,I'm Jack. On today's program, we're going to take a look at music in our life. According to some recent re-search, the average person in Britain listens to around 3,500 songs a year. And in the case of young adults aged between 18 and 24, that figure is more than 6,000. So mu-sic is all around us-in shops, restaurants and gyms. Now,if you like playing video games, you may find different background music for the games. So someone's job is to create music for the games. Emma is one of them. She is working on games like War World and Legend of Earth, which are played by lots of people. Video game music is also played on the radio. On the station Classic FM, there's a very popular, one-hour program which plays music from the games. Its name is High Score. The program is a huge success. Now, on this program, before we go on, you're going to hear a piece of jazz from somebody we all normally associate with rock music, and I want you to decide who it is we're listening to

W: [17] Hi, I’m Isabella. I’d like to share with you my embarrassing experiences after I got back home in the States. [20]① First, [18] I found myself always without cash. In China, people always carry a phone and pay by phone, as it’s almost a cashless country. People use digital payments, like Alipay and WeChat Pay. In the States, I kept forgetting that not everywhere accepts mobile payments, and I often found myself without any cash on hand. [20]② Second, I forgot that other people could speak English. I know it’s a terrible habit, but I really did develop the habit of talking about whatever I wanted with my English-speaking friends. [20]③ Third, I felt angry at the price of my phone bill. Really, America? Why does phone service cost so much? [20]④ Finally, [19] I hated the absence of public transportation. This one really did kill me. I LOVE China’s public transportation system. I could live here for 10 years and never buy a car and still get everywhere I needed to go. This summer I kept having to ask people for rides. It was terribly annoying.
