第3讲　介词 Ⅰ 　介词的概念及分类 介词是一种虚词，不能单独使用，须用在名词、代词、动名词或宾语从句的前面。介词可以分为以下几类： 高频介词短语 in spite of 尽管　　 regardless of 不管，不顾 thanks to 多亏；幸亏 due to 由于，因为 because of 因为，由于 on account of 由于 owing to 由于 as a result of 由于 in terms of 就……而言 but for 要不是 instead of 代替；而不是 according to 根据 in front of 在……(外部)前面 in the front of 在……(内部)前面 apart from 除……以外 Ⅱ 　介词的句法功能 Ⅲ 　重要的介词辨析 一、表示时间的介词 ①在以下短语中，at用于表示时间段。 at dinner time在(吃)晚饭时 at weekends/the weekend在周末 ②当表示时间的名词前有this、that、last、next、every、each、some等词修饰时，通常不用任何介词。 this morning今天上午　last year去年 ③“on＋名词或动名词”结构可以表示“一……就……”。 On my arrival/arriving home, I discovered they had gone. 我一到家就发现他们已经离开了。 二、表示方式的介词 三、表示地点的介词 四、表示原因的介词(短语) “两招定向”解决语法填空中的介词问题 1.分析句子成分 如果句子中不缺少主语或表语，动词后又不缺少宾语，则在名词、代词或动名词前一定是填介词。 对点训练 ①Looking forward, we should invest in new technologies and innovative thinking that open the door to a whole new world where we decrease reliance on fossil fuels. ②76 participants from different countries walked shoulder to shoulder through the performance zone in a program that greeted all the people around the world. ③Despite all the terrifying facts, however, some conservationists say there is still hope. ④If you could exchange lives with someone for a short time, would you like to do that？ ⑤If you are not going to suffer this problem, then I suggest that the next time you go to your mum's home for dinner, get a few cooking tips from her. 2.牢记搭配 (1)注意短语搭配中介词的正确使用； (2)注意有特殊用法的介词，如接复合宾语就只能用with或without。 对点训练 ①She patted him on the head and said, “My little boy, do you feel more comfortable now than before？” ②But can uniforms help improve school standards?
