Unit 3 How do you get to school?
Section A 1a-1c 教案
Teaching aims:
1、 能够正确使用有关交通方式的动词短语和介词短语以及how引导的特殊疑问句询问和讨论自己与他人上学的交通方式。
2、 能够通过互相询问或谈论自己的日常出行,互相了解增进友谊, 关注出行安全。
3、能在听说活动中准确获取并表达有关交通方式和日常出行的信息。
4、能够积极与他人合作,相互帮助,共同完成学习任务。
Teaching steps:
Step 1 Lead-in
Greet to students and share the experience of going to Danglai.
Ask students questions “Have you ever been to Donglai?” and How do you get to there?
通过分享去胖东来的经历,吸引学生注意力,激发学生兴趣,引出本单元话题。)
1. Show the pictures and learn the names of the transportation way.
2. Learn the new words and phrases. train, bus, subway, ride....(创设情境来复习单词,为本节之后的学习做铺垫)
Step 2 Work on 1a
Look at the picture and answer.
Where are they?
When is it?
What kinds of transportation can you see?
And then match the words with the pictures.
(通过引导学生对图片的观察,从而让学生回答交通工具已达到复习的目的)
Step 2 Pair work
Ask students to pay attention to the dialogue in the picture and guide students to generate the sentence pattern “How+助动词+主语+实义动词原型+其他?”
Then ask students to use the phases to make new conversations. And answer the question “How do you get to Donglai?”
(通过对话练习总结本节课重点句型,并引导学生进行对话练习)
Step 3 Work on 1b
Play the tape of 1b. Listen and write the numbers next to the correct students in the picture above.
Read the transcript and pay attention to the highlight.
Step 4 Work on 1c.
Look at the pictures in 1a. How do the students get to school? Make conversations with your partner.
-How does Mary get to school?
-She takes the subway.
Work in pairs. Look at the pictures and ask others about how they go to school.
Ask several pairs to present in class.
(利用对话练习吸引学生的兴趣,询问他们的到校方式。分组合作,询问其他人的到校方式,熟练how句型并做回答。提醒学生询问他人的出行方式时,动词要用单三。)
Step 5 Summary
Summarize the words and sentence patterns that students have learned and share a saying :Obey the traffic rules!
