What makes life worthwhile? Different people may have different answers to this question. Some people may think that money is the most important for one’s life. Others may regard devotion and success as essentials for their life. There goes an old saying: no pains, no gains. In our country as well as all over the world, there are many scientists who spend their time and energy doing research work. Though they don’t necessarily earn much money, they are very happy when they succeed, because they have done something meaningful and have contributed, in a degree, to human beings.
