It is a book that describes Marco Polo’s travel along the Silk Road and other Asian cities. Marco Polo Marco Polo (1254—1324), a Venetian trader and explorer who was famous for his worldwide travels. His famous book is The Description of the World, also known as The Travels of Marco Polo. He learned the mercantile trade from his father and his uncle, who travelled through Asia and met Kublai Khan. Marco Polo went to China at the age of 17. He went through the dangerous Gobi desert（戈壁沙漠）, passed Turfan （吐鲁番）, Hami, Dunhuang, then finally got to the Hexi corridor（河西走廊） and arrived to Beijing. Presentation Hello, everyone!
