4. 通过阅读和和口语练习,运用感官动词,表达自己的感受。

1.理解玲玲的感受,推测出她的性格。
2.结合玲玲的邮件,总结自我介绍的几个方面:外貌、爱好、性格,并尝试介绍自己。
教学过程
Step 1: Free talk
Activity1: Greeting
Activity2: Teacher: I feel happy to meet you in this way. But I feel a bit nervous when I give the online lesson. How did you feel when you have an online class?

Step2. Before reading
Activity3: Imagine you are going to meet your pen friend, how will you fee?
Teacher show the pictures of Lingling and Sally, :They are pen friends. They are going to meet each other. How may they feel?
Step3: While reading
Activity 4: Fast reading:
1. Read and answer:
1. Who wrote the email?
2. Whom did Sally write the email to?
3. Why did Sally write the email?
4. How did Sally feel about going to meet her pen friend?
Design purpose: Help the students learn the basic information of the email including the sender (from), the recipient (to) and the subject, before we read the body.
2. Read for main idea
T:Sally wrote this email to reply Linging’s last email. What may Lingling want to know about her? What questions may she ask in her last email?

Question3: How do you feel about coming to China?
Design purpose: Help the students get the main idea of each paragraph by finding key sentences and giving questions.
