Use “used to”to talk about their appearances,personalities and hobbies. 教学过程 Step1 Warming up Let students enjoy a song “Childhood”and then ask students to talk about how their childhood were,and what things they used to like doing when they were children. Step2 Lead-in Present some pictures, then lead students to know about things that I used to like doing when I was a child. Meanwhile, let them think about the question: Did you use to have the same experience as me? Step3 Presentation Activity 1a Check (✔) the things you used to like when you were a child. 1b What other things did you use to like when you were a child? Write sentences in the box above. Then discuss them with a partner. Step4 Pair work Students make up conversations according to what they discussed with their partners. Step5 Listening Listen and check (√) the sentences you hear. Listen again. What do the girl and the boy say about things in the past and now? Fill in the chart. Step6 Production 1.Answer some questions about their changes and retell according to 1d. 2.Let students discuss and work in groups to make a dialogue.
