Topic 1 When is your birthday? Section D 1. Mr. Brown wants to buy some beautiful flowers for Mrs. Brown. 布朗先生想为布朗夫人买一些美丽的花。 “为某人买某物”常用buy sb. sth.或 buy sth. for sb., buy 的过去式为bought。 My father bought me a new comput-er yesterday. = My father bought a new computer for me yesterday. 昨天我爸爸给我买了一台新电脑。 2. do some cleaning 打扫卫生。 do + some + v.-ing 为一种固定结构。 有时可用the 替代some。如: do some/the shopping 购物。 do some reading 读(看)书。 do some washing 洗东西(衣服)。 注意:do +some +v.-ing 是固定结构；在把含有这种结构的句子改为疑问句和否定句时, some 不能改为 any。如: Do you often help your mother do some washing on Sundays? 星期天你经常帮助你妈妈洗衣服吗? 基数词和序数词 1.基数词 (1)基数词表示数字和数目的多少,如:one, two, three, four 等。1 - 12是独立的单词，没有规律可循。 (2)13 -19 均以 teen 结尾,但需注意的是：13，15 和18 并不像其他词一样在这个基数词后直接加 teen。如: thirteen, fifteen, eighteen (3)20-90 的整十位数,均以 ty结尾,但需注意的是:20,30,40,50 和80 并不像其他词一样在个位词后直接加ty。如: twenty, thirty, forty, fifty, eighty 2.序数词 (1)序数词表示数目的顺序，如first, second, tenth 等。序数词前面一般要加定冠词the。1-3 是独立词，没有规律可循。如： 第一, first; 第二, second; 第三,third (2)4-19 在基数词后一般直接加th。但需注意的是：第五、第八、第九和第十二并不像其他词一样在基数词后直接加出。如： fifth, eighth, ninth, twelfth。 (3)从第二十到第九十的整个位数，将基数词词尾y变为ie，再加th 即可。如: 第二十, twentieth 下面是一个基数词变序数词的口诀：一、二、三，特殊记，词尾各是t，d，d,八去“t”,九去“e”,“ve”需用f替, 然后再加th，整十变化需注意，y用ie来代替，然后再加th，假若遇到几十几，只变个位就可以。 用括号内所给单词的适当形式填空。 1.
