New Standard English Book Four Module7 Unit1 Good afternoon, my dear teachers. I’m very glad to be standing here and interpreting my teaching design. Today my topic is New Standard English Book4 Module7 Unit1. I’ll talk about the following parts: Part One: The teaching material Part Two: The teaching methods Part Three: The teaching process 一、 The teaching material. （一） First it’s about the content. This unit is a new one of New Standard English Book4 Module7 Unit1,it's mainly about talking about the current activities with the present tense. To develop the ability of using language of the students. （二）Srcond it’s about students: Our students about Grade2.They’re very active and curious,interested in new things. They have learnt English more than 1 year and have some basic English background knowledge. So it’s not difficult to learn. （三）Third, according to my teaching, I make the teaching aims of this unit as follows: 1.The aim of knowledge: It’s to listen,understand;recognize and use the words: Children’s Day; play; some; say; poem; class; dragon dance master the sentences:Daming is doing a play with some children. Lingling is singing a song. 2.The aim of language skills: Ss can use the prensent tense be+doing to talk about the current activities. 3.The emotional aim: To foster Ss’ conciousness of taking part in activities and increasing the interest in learning English. The main point : To learn and master the new words and sentences. The difficult point is to use the present tense correctly. 二、 The teaching methods Making Ss to take part in class, ask and answer in pairs and groups. I’ll use communicative teaching method; discussing teaching method; TPR teaching method and so on. 三、 The teaching process （一）Warm-up After greeting with the students. I’ll begin the lesson by singing a song “I’m listenning to music”(The song can adjust Ss’ thought, arouse their interest in learning English and let them enter the atmosphere od learning English quickly) Then let’s
