They used to be very active together. He used to live in Paris. I used to be afraid of the dark. I didn't use to be afraid of the dark. 相关的短语:● be used to do sth.被用于做某事 (后跟动词的原形) Knives are used to cut things. 翻译____________________________ ● be used to doing sth.习惯于做某事 (to是介词,后接动词-ing形式) We are used to getting up early. 翻译__________________________ 小检测: 1. We used to ________ (go) swimming last year. 2. I am used to ______ (run) every morning. 3. Bamboos are used to _______ (build) houses there. 4. They have been used to ________ (live ) in the countryside. 【2】But now Ben worry about Tim. be worried about 是 worry about 的同义短语,意为“为... 1. Don't worry about him, he is not a little boy any longer. 2. We are all worried about my grandpa's health. 3. Tom's parents are worried about his safety. 【3】Tim is not active any more. not ...any more = no more I will not do this thing any more. = I will no more do this thing. 知识小拓展: not...any longer = no longer
