Module 3 Sporting life 一、教学内容：Unit 2 Liu Xiang was trained for gold. 二、课型：Reading and writing 三、教学目标： 1、能够正确使用下列单词和词组：encourage, medal, record, set up, first of all, represent, advertisement, coach, regularly, race 2、能读懂简单的体育报道和有关体育明星的故事。 3、能熟练地运用所学知识运动员的训练、生活。 四、教学重难点： 1.能模仿课文的句子描写运动员的训练、生活。 2.掌握一般过去时和一般将来时的被动语态 五、教学过程 教 学 过 程 教学步骤 活动目的 教师活动学生活动 Step1 Warming- up （3’） 复习上节课学习的内容，巩固一般过去时和一般将来时的被动语态，同时激活学生学习的氛围。 这部分的活动为读前预热部分，目的是激活学生已有的相关背景知识，增强学生的话题意识，并能围绕主题发表自己的看法。 1.Greeting. 2.Then ask the students some questions. Which sports do you like? -How often do you train? -Which sports do you watch? -How often do you watch sports? -Which is your favourite sport? Answer the teacher’s questions. Step2 Lead-in（2’） 出示图片，玩猜谜游戏，吸引学生的注意力，从而引出本节课的话题。 Explain how to play a guessing game. Show some pictures then ask the students to say something about them. Then guess who is the famous sports player? Play the guessing game. Say something about the pictures. Step3 Pre-reading（5’） 学习与课文相关的词汇，为下一步的文章阅读扫除障碍。 Show some pictures then ask the students to learn the new words and phrases. Learn the new words and phrases by talking about the pictures. Step4 While-reading（20’） 1.快速阅读文章一遍，找出文章中心意思。 2.再读文章，做配对练习，加深对文章的理解。 3.学生细读课文，训练学生从阅读中注重细节和提取主要信息的能力。 4.培养学生自主探究的学习能力，也培养学生小组合作精神。 5.解决疑难。 1.
