【单元内容】
The theme of this unit is language development and language learning. It belongs to the topic of man and society.The theme is presented form the perspective of human community with a shared future. If we are eager to have a better understanding of global affairs including culture, economy, politics, diplomacy etc. ,we should improve our ability to communicate with others with the help of languages.The speech will motivate your interest to learn more information about language and learn more foreign languages.You also can conclude some differences between American English and British English to avoid inappropriate expressions when communicating with foreigners. After summarizing the development of Chinese characters, you are supposed to form have a wider international view and cultivate self-confidence of Chinese culture. It hopes that you can ask for help on difficulties encountered in learning English and suggestions for solving these difficulties.Also you are supposed to build up the awareness of learning languages for communication.
