Today we are going to learn more about our school and the things we use in class. Look at this picture, what can you see on the desk? (展示图片，引导学生观察) Ss: A book, a pencil… T: Yes, great! Now let’s learn how to ask and answer questions about what’s on the desk or chair. Step 2: 呈现新课 1. 学习新词汇 T: (指向桌子) This is a desk. Repeat after me, desk. Ss: Desk. T: (指向椅子) And this is a chair. Say it together, chair. Ss: Chair. 2. 学习新句型 T: Now, let’s see what’s on the desk. (拿起一本书放在桌上) What’s on the desk? Ss: A book. T: Yes, a book. Notice the use of “a” before a word that starts with a consonant sound. Now try it with me, What’s on the desk? A book. Ss: What’s on the desk? A book. T: Now let’s try with the chair. (拿起一个铅笔盒放在椅子上) What’s on the chair? Ss: A pencil box. T: Right, an pencil box. Here we use “an” before a word that starts with a vowel sound. Say it together, What’s on the chair? An pencil box. Ss: What’s on the chair? An pencil box. Step 3: 句型操练 1. 师生互动 T: (拿起一个苹果放在桌上) Now, who can ask me what’s on the desk? S1: What’s on the desk? T: An apple. Your turn, S2. Put something on the chair and ask S3. S2: (将尺子放在椅子上) What’s on the chair? S3: A ruler. 2. 生生互动 T: Now work in pairs. One of you put something on the desk or chair and ask the other what’s on it.
