Unit 1 Honesty and responsibility Project: Making a scrapbook about honesty and responsibility · 内容分析： 本板块围绕单元话题,要求学生结合本单元所学的语言知识和文化知识,以小组为单位,合作制作一本以诚信和责任为主题的剪贴簿。教师可以先引导学生就话题进行集体讨论;再以小组为单位确定剪贴簿要介绍的目标内容,接着就一部电影、一首歌曲、一句名言、一首诗歌等进行探究。在制作剪贴簿的过程中, 学生可以参照课本范例,梳理并整合所获信息,合理编排,合作完成作品;学生可以当堂展示制作成果,用英语进行介绍,同时全班对各组的展示做简要点评;最后,将各组作品放在一起,组成一本完整的剪贴簿。 · 教学目标： By the end of this section, students will be able to: 1. collect and sort information about a chosen aspect related to honesty and responsibility; 2. make a scrapbook page through cooperation and exploration; 3. present the scrapbook page to the whole class; 4. evaluate and comment on each other's work. · 教学重难点： 1. Present the poster to the whole class. · 教学过程： Step 1 Review Have students discuss the characters in this unit and how they practise honesty and responsibility by filling in the following table. Step 2 Discussion Have students work in groups of four and discuss the following questions. (1) What aspects can be included in a scrapbook about honesty and responsibility? (2) What aspect would your group like to choose? Why? Possible answer: (1) We can include idioms, quotes, songs, stories, poems or films in the scrapbook. (2) We would like to choose the English song We Are the World. It is a famous song about taking responsibility to change the environment that vulnerable people around the world are living in. We think it is still meaningful after all these years. Step 3 Preparing Have students prepare materials for making a scrapbook, such as scissors, glue, paper and pictures.
