Unit Goals
1. Be able to sing the song I love reading.
2. Be able to understand the program, finish the exercise and talk about their favourite books.

Teaching steps:
Step1.Warming-up
1. The teacher show a picture, ask the students to say what he or she like doing.
2. Chant
Ride a bike. He likes riding. Sing a song. She likes singing.
Read a book. I love reading. Play a game. We love playing.
Step2.presentation
1. Free talk: Do you like books? Do you love reading? What kind of books do you like best? What can you learn from the books?
2. Play the song I love reading,the students listen and answer the question: Does Toby like reading?
3. The students read the song on Page 38 by themselves and answer the questions: How does Toby read books? What does he learn from the books?
4. What is a bookworm? What does until a story ends…mean?
5. Listen to the song again carefully,and talk about the meaning of A house without books is like a room without window.
