Unit2 Food and health
This unit aims:
1.Can understand the food words: carrot stick ,celery ,grape, cherry, string beans, corn-on the –cob hamburger , chips ,chocolate ,drink ,juice etc. and can read and write.
2. Can use the sentences: My favourite red /orange yellow /green /blue /purple / food is…to communicate own favourite vegetable and fruit.
3 .Can use:…is/are good for… to discuss healthy eating.
4 .Able to read and understand the sentence about healthy eating , and can read the words: vegetable, whole grains, health protein, fruit, drinks ,stay active.
5.Able to understand the dialogues of eating habits. then complete the correct answer. can use the sentence: Why are you so fit and strong? to discuss personal eating habits.
6.Able to read and understand the text about Auntie Pang’s bad habits. Then answer the question.
7.Can understand and sing the song: Try new foods.

Step 1 listen the song and primary perception the song. Then learn to say the name of the song.
Step 2 learn the new words:

Step 3 Understand the song
S : What’s your favourite food?
S1: My favourite food is (cherries).
S : Try (grapes) . Maybe they can be your favourite .
