Where are lions from？ They're from South Africa. 语法专题 语 法 详 解 一、why和where引导的特殊疑问句 1．why作疑问副词，其引导的特殊疑问句用来询问原因、理由。其结构为“Why＋一般疑问句？”，回答时，一般用“Because ...”，此处because是连词，其后要接一个句子来陈述原因、理由。如：—Why do you like pandas? —Because they are cute. 注意：在一个句子中不能同时出现because和so。 2．where作疑问副词，其引导的特殊疑问句用来询问地点。其结构为“Where＋be＋主语(＋from)？”或“Where＋do/does＋主语＋动词原形＋其他？”，回答时要根据具体情况。如： ◇—Where is Ben from？—He is from Guangdong. ◇—Where does Ben come from? —He comes from Guangdong. 二、表示性质和品质的形容词 1．形容词及其功能 形容词是用以说明事物或人的性质和品质的词。形容词通常在句中作定语、表语、宾语补足语等。 所作成分 用法 例句 定语 当修饰名词时，常置于所修饰的名词之前；当修饰不定代词(something/anything/ nothing/someone等)时，常置于所修饰的不定代词之后 She is a good girl.
