单元概述
单元内容
The topic of this unit is “people’s looks. Different people have different physical appearances. The passages in this unit help you learn to talk about this kind of basic information of yourself and others. They also offer you the chances to know different hobbies and help you find out your real interests. At the same time, develop the good habit of careful observation, and learn to appreciate others by describing others’ appearances correctly.

1. 掌握辅音/θ/ 和 /ð/ 的 发音,并能辨别不同词汇中字母组合th的发音
2. 掌握单词、短语以及句子中的重音,并能正确朗读。
词汇:能够正确使用描写外貌的形容词(tall, thin, heavy, round...),五官类名词(face, mouth, eyes, nose...),职业(actor,actress..)和常用表达(be of medium height, go to the movies…)对人物外貌和职业进行简单描写和表达。
语法:能正确使用选择疑问句询问人的外貌并进行简单回答(Alternative questions)
语篇: 能够描述别人的外貌及职业并介绍他人
语用: 能够询问并描述人的外貌

1. 能够听懂有关描写外貌的语段,并能从中提取出细节信息。

1. list out the expressions about different physical appearance and try to introduce the people around you by using descriptive words.
2. talk about people’s appearance according to An Interesting Job.
3. write a passage to introduce your best friend from different aspects.
4. summarize how to introduce others’ basic information by reconstructing the mind map.
单元情境任务
Your best friend Jack and you are in different schools. Your classmates want to know your best friend. Write a passage about your best friend to them. You can describe your best friend's appearance, personality , hobbies and so on. Draw a picture or take a photo in order to make it clear.
