1.神笔马良 Once upon a time,there lived a boy called Ma Liang.He was poor, but kind.从前，有一个男孩叫马良。他家境贫困，但很善良。 He liked drawing very much,so he drew pictures every day. 他非常喜欢画画，每天都画呀画。 One night,Ma Liang had a dream.   一天晚上，马良做了一个梦。 In his dream, an old man gave him a magic brush and told him to help the poor with it.  在梦里，一位老人给了他一支神奇的画笔，并告诉他要帮助穷人。 When he woke up, he found that the magic brush was in his hand. 当他醒来时，他发现手里真的有支神笔。 People in his village didn't have enough food.He used his brush to draw a field and it became real.People now had food.村子里的人们没有足够的食物。他就用画笔画了一块田地，然后它变成了真的。人们现在有了食物。 He found there was not enough water. So he drew a river and it became real,too. People now had water. 他发现人们没有足够的水喝。于是他画了一条河，这条河也变成了真的。人们现在有水喝了。 Everybody loved Ma Liang. 大家都喜欢马良。 There was an official who was rich and greedy.He asked Ma Liang to draw a gold mountain.有一个富有且贪婪的官员。他让马良画一座金山。 But Ma Liang didn't want to draw for him. Then he had a good idea.但是马良不想给他画，他想到了个好主意。 He drew a mountain of gold very far away in the sea. The official wasn't happy. He asked Ma Liang to draw a boat. 他在大海里画了一座金山。官员并不高兴。Then Ma Liang drew a little boat for him. The rich man jumped into the boat but he never came back. 于是马良又画了一只小船。富人跳上了船，但他再也没有回来。 Ma Liang could help the poor with his magic brush again.马良又可以用他的神笔帮助穷人了。他让马良给他画一条船。 2.Making a Mark on the Boat（刻舟求剑） Long ago,there was a man from the State of Chu who loved his sword very much.One day,he was taking a boat across a river when he dropped his sword into the water carelessly. Immediately he took out a knife and made a mark on the side of the boat where the sword dropped.He said,“I dropped my sword here.” People on the boat didn’t know why he did that.They all said he should quickly take his sword out of the river.But the man answered, “Don’t worry!I have the mark here.”The boat moved on.Someone told him again, “Go and get your sword back,or the boat will go farther, and you will never find it！”The man didn’t listen, he thought he could find it
