II. Learning Aims
Through this course, students can:
1. To identify the explicit and implicit descriptive languages of "change" in a text and accumulate relevant expressions.
2. According to the multiple factors that influence and promote the development of western painting art by text information mining out, the depth and breadth of knowledge are expanded.
3. Based on the characteristics of western painting art in different periods, this paper analyzes different paintings to distinguish their creation period and style.
4. Talk about your favorite western painting style and share your understanding of the connotation and value of art.
Ⅲ. Teaching ideas
Students first show their homework from the previous session, find words, chunks, and sentences that express "change" in the reading text, and classify them in groups to accumulate relevant expressions. On this basis, the student mining out text deep-seated information, induces the development and change of western painting art factors; Then find out the difficult sentence and the like sentence pattern in the text, analyze or imitate the writing, realize the flexible use of language. After fully interpreting the reading text, students complete the matching activities between painting and creation time, communicate and express around the theme, and realize the internalization and transfer of language. Finally, the students and their peers exchange their preference for western painting style and their views on the definition of art, deepen their understanding and thinking of the theme and improve their own artistic accomplishment.
Ⅳ. Teaching Procedures
Activity 1: Present and sort out the words and expressions that indicate " change".
1. Present the words and expressions you underlined to the class.
2. Create a word bank about " change " in groups of four.
